We ensure that those who engage with us benefit by being part of a better, stronger, healthier community in which to live, work and become a productive member of society.

Another Chance 4 Hope (AC4H) is a Twin Cities–based nonprofit, founded in March 2020 by a team of lived-experienced professionals passionate about uplifting and empowering underserved BIPOC communities. What began in 2017 with handing out home-cooked meals to unsheltered youth has grown into a trusted community resource for individuals and families facing homelessness, addiction, human trafficking, and other life-altering challenges.
Initially focused on unsheltered youth, our work has expanded in response to community needs — now serving BIPOC residents of all ages. We connect individuals directly to vital services, breaking down barriers through advocacy, mentorship, and collaborative partnerships. Our core areas include substance use and opioid prevention, harm reduction, human trafficking prevention, and access to basic needs such as housing, food, clothing, and hygiene support.
Through partnerships with landlords, educators, and local agencies, we help youth and young adults secure safe housing, build life and relationship skills, and pursue educational and personal growth. Our commitment extends to creating a space where young people feel seen, heard, and supported — with opportunities to thrive and lead change in their communities.
At the heart of AC4H is a mission to prepare and inspire a new generation of global youth through education, cultural exchange, volunteerism, and advocacy — all rooted in tolerance, shared values, and mutual understanding. We instill the values of honesty, creativity, innovation, service, and environmental appreciation, while nurturing leadership and spreading positive change.
